About Me

I am a highly sensitive and intense personality

Matt Jackson is a sought-after business coach working in Sydney for local, national and global clients. He has helped clients such as Adobe, AMP, Commonwealth Bank, The Starlight Children’s Foundation, BridgeClimb Sydney, The University of Sydney and more to create courageous cultures where team members focus on affecting stakeholders in positive ways.

Throughout his life Matt has played in the space between entities. As a rugby halfback he played between the forwards and the backs. He graduated from Melbourne University with BAs in Arts and Commerce and learnt how to satisfy a desire to love what he does and to make money. To pay for his degrees he worked as a waiter articulating between customer and kitchen. In advertising he played the part of a suit, which required him to translate creative concepts for business people and business concepts for creative people.

Now as a poet and speaker he performs to international business, scientific, medical and artistic audiences at TEDx, VIVID, the Sydney Biennale and other thought leadership events. His ability to stay fluid in the joints between these disciplines and his passion for humanizing business are two reasons for his success. The Age of Affect is Matt’s first book, and it is the integration of what he has learned about the art of business and the business of art.
